There's a difference.

If you've just ordered a "Trailer Package" you get a Seven Way Trailering plug located back there next to the receiver hitch.

On the other hand, if you ALSO order the Fifth Wheel Wiring Option, then you get a cable bundled up and attached to the frame, driver side, where the cab meets the bed. You have to provide your own Seven Way plug and install it in front of the wheel well, behind the wheel well, where ever you want it.

That is the 35.00 camper wiring provision. It is set up to run a slide in camper. It has a heavy guage wire for battery charge and wires for lights. You have to install the 40 AMP relay in the bec box under the hood to activate post #1. and the harness. Probally work real well for a 5th. wheel as you stated.

I ordered both options and the 40 amp fuse comes taped together with the trailer brake controller wiring and the 7 prong to 4 prong adapter plug.

The brake controller wiring has the GM side plug installed with the other ends bare. So I got the Tekonsha harness for my Prodigy and it has the plug on each end. Fastest brake control install I've ever done...http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Approve.gif
