Had to drive up to Tampa to pick her up from the rail yard - otherwise wait another 2-3 weeks. Deal is done and she's mine. Nothing but positive things to say so far (70 miles). It's a pretty rare package with the black mouldings and grey valance on the front bumper - but still has chrome grille and rear bumper. Wheels, tires and black mouldings first things to go. Tint and aluminum wheels coming thursday. Thanks for the help RedEagle!

Congrats on the new ride! How about some pics boiling the rear tires before they come off? by the way, did the dealer let you drive it away from the rail yard before they did a PDI?

They let me driver her home - had 2 miles on it when I cranked it up for the first time.

Unfortunately, I'm going to have to wait for my new tires to wear out before I boil them - sold the 245's already and I'm sure the buyer would not appreciate "half baked" tires.

Awesome truck! Those 285's make it look lifted.

That last pic looks like you may want to consider some mud flaps.

It's funny seeing the snowflakes fall in those pictures - now I know what it'd look like if it snowed at my house!

Looking good! Tinted windows always helps, so do tires that are more proportional to the wheel wells. Losing those black mouldings cleans it up too!

Looks nice.

Those mods make it look like a different truck.

How did you remove the side molding?
Is it just adhesive? If it is, how did you clean up the residue?

Yes - just adhesive. And no residue to clean up - this is attributed to it being a brand new vehicle.

Great looking truck. It does have a unique look to the front. I like the mouldings-off thing that you did. Looks really clean. Good luck with it and have a happy and safe new year...Carmine
