On another note, I recieved a certificate for $1,000 off the purchase of any new GM vehicle they day I had gone down to do the financing for my new truck.


The certificate was a result of a law suit filled in Louisiana against GM for the older GM pickups with the fuel tanks on the outside of the frame. My 1987 Chevy 1500 4x4 ( had the VIN# on the certificate ) is still registered and I am assuming thats how the issue these certificates. The issue date on the certificate was 02/15/04, so if you have one of these old trucks registered you may have a certificate comming in the mail. The certificate has to be presented before purchasing and works with any other certificates.

I agree! This Saturday I pick up my new 4x4, crew, D-Max and because of a little help from DmaxTim I saved a good bit of dough on the purchase. I'm stoked! Tim, if I ever run into you, drinks are on me.
