I have a SPA Guage and I noticed that the pyro is reading 32.5-32.6 back and forth,I checked the ground wires and all is good. I was driving in a hard rainstorm last night for a few hrs but the last time I looked everything was working. what could be the problem? thanks

I have had two differen EGT guages on my Turbo Buick and both failed within a year. I have read where the probe is a weak point. I'm on my second probe with this last unit.

Makes me wonder how long an EGT guage will work if I add it to my truck.

My SPA pyro will do the exact same thing if it gets some moisture on the leads. I keep some dielectric grease on the connectors at the sending unit but it does not take much water to make it go goofy for a bit.

It will clear up as it dries out.

I pulled the probe out and it looks good,I unplugged it from the box and looked for dampness but I didnt see any so I put it back in and went out and drove it hard but it didnt change a thing it still reads 32.5 and doesnt hardly move. So you think it just needs drying out BMD,what would it read if the pyro went out on the SPA?

Ok after I took another run with it I stopped for a coke and then I noticed it started working again, guess it needed a good drying out.. What should I seal up to keep this from acting up again? BMD did you solve this problem with your SPA?
