'01 C3500, Just had injectors replaced at 115,000. Are these new ones better than the old ones?

They are going to be the same ones that you had in there most likely. Not sure if they are putting the updated ones in there or not.. Good luck..

YES! New injectors are of better design. Old design prone to split and have early failure due to the fuel carving in the nozzles. We will still have issues with fuel carving but with the new filters and better metallurgy it should be less. (This is in my uneducated opinion):D

the new ones suppose to have a better design I heard. But then again I have never seen them in real life to tell them apart

The old one's either cracked or were carved out by particulate. When Clyde changed my injectors he showed me the new injectors had thicker bodies where the old ones cracked which supposedly solved the body cracking issue. Hopefully the finer filtration will solve the particulate wear issue.
