Isn't this where we discuss "other" ECM tuning software?

umm, They still sell that software?
I tried it for a guy that brought his car in for a dyno tune and insisted that i used his tuner ct software, and it was horrible, After 20 minutes i gave up on using his and showed him what i used, and well, By the time i was done setting up his car I had him talked into another brand of software.

It is just to poorly layed out and You have to know exactly what to look for and not open alot of windows or the program crashes and you have to restart the whole thing, " it did that to me twice while i was setting up the guys tune"

Maybe someday they will set it up better, and make it more user freindly, But untill then, it might be a good idea not to even mess with it.. Time is money... And Quality Talks...

I certainly wasn't having a go at the DP mods, I was simply suggesting that any comments on T.C from me would probably upset another supporting vendor even though I have used it.
Seeing as though no-one but wait4me has replied I am happy to pass on my opinions if you really want to hear them.........or people can search the various LSx forums, plenty to be said about it on them.

Cheers,
Ross

Tunercat, LS1Edit, LT1Edit, HPTuners, DHP, Diablosport, Superchips, etc...do not supply PC software for tuning the Duramax.

I just can't help but wonder if it's coincedence that all of these options are hitting the market at the same time or if the release of EFI made these companies move forward with tools they were using?

I'd get em to define their definition of shortly to see if it fits with your expectation......they have a far from GREAT track record with meeting agreed and expected timeframes - their last release was about 11 months late, then it didn't work great.

I should have never been so negative without supporting my claim......so here goes

http://www.hptuners.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3267 in progress 13 months so far

http://www.hptuners.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3649 and 18 months since they said it was on their agenda

Thanks for the heads up, BuddyBee. I guess I was just pointing out that other companies were at least planning to bring something to the table.

I've already picked my pony, so if nobody else ever comes out with anything, it'd be no skin off my butt.:offtopic:

EFILive has certainly upset the tuning market. Competition between companies will be good for the consumers.

Soon we will all be arguing over which software is the best, and not which tune is the best. That is the way it is with the gas powered guys. ):h

Boy, your not kidding. I've got their LSX software, but I didn't have any trouble with it. As a matter of fact, the 2.0 release is great, although I could have walked around the world before they released it. I think I'll just wait for the duramax release since I'm going to the sandbox in July for a year. I've got nothing but time.
