I was wanting to add a diamond plate cap to the bed rails....I also want the tailgate cap to match. Does anyone know if there is one out there that replaces the plastic cap? The cap was gone and no holes or signs of where the OE cap used to be were visible, so someone makes it. Zeeb 02-25-2004, 11:46 PM Well I was going to have the dealer remove mine and put on the stainless with the bed cap rails until we found out no one makes them for Dooley's. The dealer's aftermarket parts install guy didn't seem to think it would be any big deal to remove the plastic one and didn't think the paint would be damaged. I've not tried to get it off yet, but maybe this summer when a local stainless accessory manufacturer is suppose to have bed cap rails available for my truck.
