so my dealer says my cd player needs a cleaning... what are they going to do? Is this an easy at home job?

I also heard that the bristles on the cleaning cd may be too abrassive and can scratch the lazer's lense. GMC2500HD 12-16-2005, 02:43 PM That is why you use the cleaning solution that comes in the little bottle with the newer CD's. It is suppose to eliminate that possibility.. Of picking up grease that is.. Those brushes are so short that they barely touch the lens, just used to create an air current to whisk dust away.. Good luck.. | ||
