Shopping around for a 2 post lift. Does anyone have feedback or recommendations for a brand name? Was considering a 4 post but I think a 2 post would be more flexible. Looking for a 9000 or 10,000 lb rating.

For an above ground lift the Rotory is the best brand to get. I have one that I use comercialy.

I have a Rotary twin post. It is the 9000lb.er I have had it for almost 6 years and never had one problem with it. For a home installed unit it gets plenty of a work out, Not like a repair shop of course. It lifts my 05 CC dually with no problem. We have pulled engines, done rears, trannys, exhaust, suspensions and LOF's
It was the best money spent when I had my house built.
I bought it off a vendor at Maple Grove during a Super Chevy event. I paid 3 grand installed.
My suggestion would be to get one with an open floor plan so you don't trip over the plate and it makes it easier to move the tool box and or work table from front to back.

I just ordered a Atlas Pro V10 2 post lift from www.gregsmithequipment.com (http://www.gregsmithequipment.com) and should recieve it by the end of the week. Eric from gmdieseltech recommended these lifts because they are about 1/3 the cost of a rotary lift. He also uses 2 of them in his shop.

Here is a link to this same ? a couple months ago.

The Rotary is made here in the USA and as far as service I can't say. Never needed any. I haven't seen the guy since the day he installed it.

How much ceiling clearance do you need for a lift?
