I am getting ready to install a set of Thule permanent roof rack rails to my crew cab. I need to find out where to (or not to) drill in to the roof. Thule said that I can't go into any cross members or wires (duh!). I have not found any drawings or information on the 04 roof and just need any advice I can get. They mount with rivnuts so it will be a nice permanent job and I can then use all of my Thule stuff!

Why not just pull the headliner and take a look?

I would but am a bit hesitant as I don't know what is involved. I really want to do that as I need to put in a permanent mount Ham radio antenna as well and that would make that go smooth. Any suggestions as to how the headliner comes down?
