Had a couple of -20 degree days here last week, truck was plugged in, drove to work, pac brake stuck, power steering stiff, brakes sucked.
I got oil in the water, but no water in the oil. Changed gaskets on oil cooler, hoping that may be problem.
Hoping not head gasket or cracked head, any info would be greatly appreciated.

Bypass the oil cooler altogether and flush engine with automatic dishwasher detergent several times. Dont use the liquid soap...to sudsy. Use the powder type soap. I am willing to bet you have a internal leak in your cooler which is common. Take it off and throw it away if problem is solved. Dont need the cooler unless you are pulling heavy and running it hard 24-7.

Had cooler checked, no leaks.
Boss bought another one just to make sure. Installed, and in process of flushing (ran out of time, getting parts is a half a day project around here).
Unfortunatly, I need the cooler. I work for an excavating company, and am constantly hauling the Bobcat, and all its little goodie's around in the mountains.
Thanks for the reply, I will post on final outcome.( Don't wanna pull head, I want my truck back!)

Been running a week now, oil appears to have gone away, musta blown the gasket out. Now I get to change t-stat, throw out bearing (clutch while I'm at it), and something in the fuel system (hard start, unless just slightly press throttle)
All on the same day, been a fun winter so far and it just started.
