I just purchased two Brand New AC Delco TP1298B (the new style) filters on EBay for $51.00 (including shipping). Does that sound like a fair deal? NAPA wanted $42 each for theirs.

Make sure they are in fact the B filters. $51 shipped is a steal for two.
There are a LOT of people selling the old A's and even the old single-pleat filters on eBay.
Make sure yours have the narrow part at the bottom and no black stripe at the top... if not, send them back.

AC Delco recommended consumer price is $51.77 ea.

What the heck happened to the fuel filter prices?

I bought a case from DIS about 3 years ago with and avg. price per filter of only $14 IIRC (Racors of course), now I checked back because of this thread and WoW, $26!!:eek:

Talk about inflation!! I'm sure the new design changed the price as well.

Hey I got the new filters at Wilsonville chevy for $26 about 2 months ago. Don't know what they are going for now, but could be better (no wait) than ebay.
