What is this plug for?
It is coming from the trailer light harness.
Can it be used to power marker lights?

Straight brake light wire. Power comes from the high mount.

It's for trailer wiring. If you have a trailer that runs separate stop and turn lights.

X-Treme is correct. It is CHMSL or center high mounted stop lamp. It will have power when you press the brakes. Nothing more.

Hmmm...all this time I was thinkin it was the connection for some type of pyro guage for the optional after burner........ What? You guys didn't see that option when you ordered your trucks!?!? :lol:

Guys that have fiberglass caps on the bed use that for the stoplight on the cap.
