Tom-- Hold the ALT key down and at the same time punch in 0153 and you'll get ™ as soon as you release the alt key.

Thank you for the tip, Shortcut!

Machoosh, what are the specs on those bulbs compared to the stockers?

Are these the HIR bulbs Toshiba copied?

I've got 'em in my '03. A bit brighter than stock. Enough so that small cars always let me know I'm #1 when I'm behind them at a traffic light. ;)

I liked them so much, I put a set in my wife's durango and... they suck in that application. Stockers worked better (lost the beam pattern directly in front of the car).

Work great in the Dmax though; hard to beat the price too.

Cotton, these are not the HIR's. Kinda expensive for 4 bulbs; although I wouldn't mind trying them after I burn out the nighthawks, but so far so good.

There is also a program called Character Map (for Windows users) that does the same thing. Start menu-> Programs-> Accessories-> System Tools.

Consumer reports just did a review on all aftermarket headlight bulbs. They tested a few vehicles. The result was that vision/distance was no better most vehicles on low beams. High beams may be a different story. What I took from the article was that I'll be purchasing the regular halogen. They basically said the others are for modifying the appearance (blue, whiter...).

Hope that helps?
