I have been running a hypertech on lvl 3 stacked with and Edge juice attitude. I pulled out the hypertech until i get a new clutch and the truck pretty well took a dump on the low end. Edge really only seems to do anything over 2000 rpm. Im gonna be getting the south bend/dynadroit dual disc and was looking into a new programmer. Was looking at the PPE units. How are the low end on these units? I also tow heavy so low end is important to me, especially with the ZF-6. I may just keep going with the hypertech. What would you guys suggest?

I guess I am not sure what tune will work good with a hand shaker. I have seen alot of people happy with the latest Predater and some PPE stuff.

i would go with predator or BD power. BD is said to have the best bottom end.
I think I expected too much from my Predator when I first got it ! Now after running it a few weeks ........it does seem to have a little more bottom end than my HT on level 3 ! It is not night and day........it's not tire frying bottom end.........but it is a little more responsive pulling out in traffic and stuff . I don't think it has "as" much mid range power but a little more low end and a little more top end than the HT ! Seems to get a little better milage as well .....although I have hand calculated it out yet !!

For pedal response, the Predator with EGR unplugged gives really good response, but there's really not a lot ofprogression as you go deeper. The Edge is my favorite when towing a load. Response is stock like until you put some load on it and get some air moving. Boost Stick on Edge works very well.

Isn't BD's Intimidator programmer just a re-bundled PPE?

I have a bd intimidator and zf-6 if your looking for low end DO NOT GET IT its a great programmer but the bottom end stinks. ya I 've heard guys say "ya but you have turbo lag"( due to being stick) but Ive heard the quad is way better down low. just my .02

Thanks for the info guys, I may just keep the hypertech as it has a fairly strong low end when stacked with the edge.
