If I let the 01 sit out and try to shift out of park to R or D, I almost break the gear shift, if its war it fine. The nsb was replaced 2 years ago. Ideas? TIA

Do you have any snow built up under the truck near the NSBU? I've backed into some snow and caused it to not shift lower than D. GM does offer a stainless kit to protect the NSBU but it costs about $120.
