Changed the front differential to Mobile 1 a long time ago. Did not know about changing the vent cap and did not do it. No problems the last 75,000 miles since changing.


What kind of cap do I get? Where do I get it?

Larry, hello friend. The cap is avail from dealer, the difference is obvious. I have found that the reason gm wants it changed is because of the oring that comes on it. If you have had no problems, dont worry about it now. I assume that it may leak and thats what they are worried about, if it does, it can be had for less then 20.00 at a dealer.
