Is there any way to wire up a manual lock up switch on the 4l80e?

I don't know how though, that's why I bought a Torqloc. BD makes it. I only used it while pulling a trailer to keep the convertor locked up. ip2222 12-29-2005, 02:31 AM Yes. Tie into the grnd side of the tcc solenoid and run that wire to a toggle switch that grnds that wire. You probably won't like the results. When towing, the converter unlocks under heavy load, which not only uses more fuel but really heats the fluid.
