I think the only hope that us OBD I guys may have is J. Kennedy. He has been working on a PC version. I don't know were it stands but I do think he will finish it sometime. The last I heard it is really close.

Okay now I'm lost why zactly would you need something more than a paper clip for codes, unless you are trying to view real time data, if that is the case several companies make a OBDI diagnostic tool, Snap-on for one, host of others, used but good OBD-I snap-on tools are dirt cheap on ebay

I don't know for sure for all, my MT2500 is for most things except TDC offset, which I have to activate using key on/off and APP to the floor, but I'm OBD-II.

You should be able to find a local mechanic shop to try to see what works or not, I'd test myself, but hurricane Katrina got all my OBD-I stuff and foreign cartridges, only thing left is the scanner and OBD-II cartridge that I had in my truck with me when I evacuated.

Since we are on the subject..I replaced my crank sensor.Do I have to get a TDC learn done?
