i am thinking about trying to move the stock fuel filter some where else for an easier access to changing the filter. any one ever try this?

The problem I have is how to get to the filter? It's on a 2003 C4500 its buryed behind hoses and wires how do you change it ?

i removed the whole filter and head and carried to the work bench, did the filter change and put it all back. it is very messy getting the fuel lines primed back up. this is why i want to just move the whole thing somewhere else like down underneath the truck where i think GM should have put it.

whats so hard about where it is now? Maybe an adapter to put it on the pass seat?

well, iam kinda short and have to get on top off something to get to it and at my age it cramps my legs. i need an easier way to get to the thing. i think haveing it in the cab, might get a little smelly. besides where would the wife ride?

did you move your filter or add another to the frame?
