Not too hard,

It will take some time to get a feel for it but the more you change stuff and datalog and see what the results are the more you begin to understand what the changes do.

Try it, you won't be dissapointed.

I've also wondered this and if this is something that could be dangerous (as in changing something that could damage or blow up the motor). Sounds like this tuner/scanner is going to be a great tool in the right hands, and if you have an understanding of what you are trying to change, not so sure about us plug and play tuner types.
