today i stopped at the gas station and proceded to put diesel in her, she was still running, because its cold and i just had a hard time starting at the bak when i shut it off for 5 min. as i was filling her the fuel gauge started jumping to to empty to half all over. i finshed put the cap back on and it slowed down and moved way past full it moved till it was point slightly downward. after 5 mins of drinving she seemed to settle down and return to normal. any ideas? bad whtachamicallit int he tank?

Have had and continue to have the same problem on my '94. Believe that someone stated that this may be caused by an 'open' in the circuit or a failing fuel sender.
