05 bullet 12-08-2005, 06:22 PM took my truck to dealer yesterday for a few issuses i have found nothing wrong no codes nothing calls me back and says my truck is not stock and will not touch it with the aftermarket exaust and intake on have to get it back to stock before they will investigate futher. is that standard at all GM dealer cause my problem is in the moter not my exaust or do they just dont want to fix it. My edge is completely out of the truck Cobra#3747 12-08-2005, 06:34 PM What complaints is the truck in for? 05 bullet 12-08-2005, 06:54 PM well it has been bursting what sounds like air against the firewall and the truck even stock could walk away from my dads 04 not no more. took it to huskstorf diesel by my house one of the guys agreed with me about the lack of power his idea was turbo or an injector problem without ripping it apart. i did reaseach the forum and found an EGR block mit fix the blowoff problem. the trans has limped once in level 5 so maybe tans is slippin too. Cobra#3747 12-08-2005, 07:45 PM If the truck came in with a "bursting" noise, I may ask that the orginal air intake was put back on, but nothing on the exhaust. Mostly just to eleminate anything stupid would be the reason. While you may know that it dosnt effect it, as a tech that really dosnt get paid a whole lot by warranty to run down noises and paid nothing if it ends up being something you added. And you will have more problems from diesel techs that arnt into mods than ones that are. Personally I dont care if something has been changed as long as its not the result of the problem.
