: Keep dog from pissing on wheels??

Anybody out there know of a cure to keep a dog to keep from pissing on your wheels? (besides a shotgun!) It happens to me every night, and I get really tired of seeing it and having to wash it off. If there is nothing, this will be my next invention project!

No, it is my girlfriend's dog. I don't believe she would let me be too harsh on him!! I didn't know if there was something you could spray on the wheels or tires to drive him away or not.

Hook up a 12v supply to your wheels, he will get a nice jolt....http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Evil Smile.gif

Hook up an electric fencer box too it. He would likely only do it once more.

They do sell dog repellent spray. Check the pet shops.

This works. Just don't forget to turn it off before you leave for the morning. Don't ask how I know!

Start pissing on the dog every morning and see how he likes it! May not stop him but at least you will be even.

They also make a pill for it. Its called the 5 cent lead pill!Edited by: 03GMC2500HD

Amonia will keep that sucker from even going near your truck. I use it in bear country to keep the bears from sniffing around for food. That stuff kills the nostrils of them sniffing type animals.

Kick the crap (explitive deleted) out of him (especially if and when you see him doing it)!!

Our dog is constantly "looking" around when he's pissin', because he never knows when I'm gonna put a size 12 up his a$$! He don't piss on tires anymore either.

A really cheap trick is to buy a can of powdered cayene pepper at the grocery store. Sprinkle some on the rims and on the ground around the tire. The dog requires a "scent" to either mark or overmark. When he goes looking for a spot to whiz, the cayene will turn him off from a good way out!http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Approve.gif

The electric fence works wonders! Also keeps horses from biting the truck!http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Clap.gif

Got a leash law here, not too many dogs out wandering around, so they aren't a real problem.

What i'd like to find is a way to keep cats off my vehicles. they are especiallty bad about my '94 Linc MK8. It's dark Portofino Blue and their paw prints stand out like a neon sign.

I never see the cats it's done either at night or while I'm away in the DMax. And the MK8 is staying home more and more,as diesel at the cheapest station nearby is 27 cents cheaper than the cheapest premium gas {9.9:1 comp ratio} I can find!

Hey Juicemac...What works for me is sprinkle cayenne pepper around the tires when you park. The dog will not get near it. After a few days of this, you can sprinkle it around the tires every few days until the dog is conditioned not to pea on your tires.

I have that trouble with cats. I put a rubber( thick foam) mat down with a piece of screen on it and then drive the truck up on it. Has tto be the wheel, pised on most often. Once truck is in position I connect a 15 mfd capacitor chareged to 150VDC between the screen and the wheel trim. When the cat/dog standing on that screen lets go a squirt, it gets the biggest surprise it ever had. Usully one time is enough. The electric fence connection has the same effect, but keeps on working, contact after contact without need for a recharge like the capacitor.
