If you have read my previous thread you know that I reworked the heads on my truck. Then had some problems with starting.

I seem to have the starting problems fixed.

The truck runs good at idle, and in reverse, but when it is put into any drive range it dies as soon as I give it throttle.

I have no idea what is going on here and neither does anyone else I talk to.

I hope someone has an idea about this.

I found out what the problem was, and fixed it. Things are running great now.

When we put the truck back together we accidently left off a ground wire that comes up from the back of the motor. It's two wires under one terminal. When that wire is disconnected the torque converter locks whenever it is in drive. (Explaining why it worked in Reverse but not drive) Causing the engine to stall due to the load on it without the torque converter slipping.

Thanks to everyone for all of their help, with this problem and previous ones.
