Hey guys ..I never dynoed before so i was wondering about a few questions.
1. Will my Leer cap make any difference with the weight and all?
2. How much programming can i get away with before each run?
3. Defuel or not?
I guess i have a lot of preset up questions... maybe someone could give me some advise on Dyno ettiquet....:D I know how to launch a boat without taking all day and tieing teh ramp up but i will get three runs...and i want to make the most of it...:help:

The cap will add weight to the back, that's good on the dyno.
What do you mean, how much programming can you get away with?
Don't defuel
A good dyno operator will walk you right through it.

Provided you are not at an event where there is a long line or wait for the dyno then you should have more than enough time to adjust/tinker between pulls.
You are paying so test what you want.
What kind of dyno? Use tow/haul and OD lockout if you don't have a Tech II or just run in 5th gear. If you get a downshift on one of the pulls have the dyno operator redo the pull to get a good curve.

Thanks for the information..So i will leave my cap on...Run T/H and OD lockout, Set on No Defuel, and screw around with the fuel mixture And if i get a downshift ask for a redo!

FYI- For the guys who run an E/J w/Attitude. You can set the E/J NOT to defuel and the factory ECM will do it anyway. This is a problem I am currently addressing and it seems the only way to fix it is to stack the PPE tuner and install an ATS w/co-pilot. I was really disappointed to find out the the E/J doent do what it is advertised to do. Only way to stop the defueling is to run a "programmer", not a "box".

uuummm...I think you already know the answer to that. If your married DONT EVEN TRY IT. That would be selfish and disrespectful to your mate. If you are just dating then you have a better chance....
