Pressure valve 01 DMAX

Is it true? is there a fix for the lack of power steering during low speed steering and braking.. I'm out of warranty.. How much is this valve? Easy to change? Thanks steve

I haven't had any luck with replacing the valve only. I think the issue is the valve hanging up in the pump, and if teh pump bore is scored, a new valve will hang up too. Just replace the pump.

Yeah but how much is a pump?

IIRC when GM changed trucks in 88 model year, there was a bulletin about changing something in PS gearbox, never did one so I don't remember what exactly.
