: 06 tow mirrors
TLTBOWEN 12-06-2005, 05:00 PM Does any body have a part number for these? My dealer is having trouble figguring out what I mean when I say I want the new 06 tow mirror. Is there any where on the web that I could get a set? Any ideal on price ?
Thanks
06Turbo 12-06-2005, 05:21 PM Take him out on the lot and show him a truck. However, if he can't figure out the stock part number on a truck they sell  , you may want to try a different dealer.
jderk 12-06-2005, 05:25 PM I just ordered a set from GMPARTSDIRECT.COM The part numbers are
15812279 Left mirror
15812280 Right mirror
They were 159.76 each. Be warned though, I ordered in October and they just got released yesterday. Apparently GM had them on backorder. Hope this helps.
TLTBOWEN 12-06-2005, 07:01 PM 06turbo yeah you think it would be that simple. I tried the only GM dealer in town and even a Chevy Dealer. I get the same response from both :iamwithst :blahblah: . I will try gmpartsdirect.com Thanks

Dang! They're not as expensive as I thought they would be. Now I'll need to pick some up after the holidays.

Thunderhead7 12-06-2005, 08:50 PM TLTBOWEN - Mirrors have nothing to do with the Engine - You posted your question in the wrong area, also if you searched the Exterior area you would have found the answer to your question.

:muahaha: I did search and have read lots on here about this subject although I have never come across the answers to the questions I asked. They may be on here but I could not find them. I do appreciate you correcting me on the forum though. I feel just like my mom caught me with my hand in the cookie jar :ro) . Now let's go have a beer and enjoy the remainder of our lives.
riverchucky 12-07-2005, 12:07 AM Hope you get your mirrors in a timely fashion, got mine through the dealership within one week, almost cost a left nut, did get a fleet discount though. The '06 extendable mirrors are damn nice for aft visibility!
Iceman18T 12-07-2005, 08:16 AM Are those the part numbers for the heated ones as well?

Rooster Tail 12-07-2005, 07:03 PM Just to confirm: Are those part numbers, 15812279 and 15812280, for the 2006 power extending (camper style), turn signal, heated exterior mirrors???
sycloneGuy 12-07-2005, 07:18 PM The 2006 are manual extend, heated, and turn signal. No power extend at this time.
