I'm thinking about getting the Eagle 114's in the 18x9.5 size.

They have 6 inch back spacing.

If I ran BFG 285/65 (33") tires with these wheels, would they fit ok?

With the 6" back spacing would they stick outside of the fenders?

I think the diameter of the tire will be ok but I don't want them to stick out.

Is there anyone out there running this combination that can let me know?

I appreciate it.

Thanks

Yup.... I have that exact setup. 114 Eagle 18x9.5's with 285/65/18 BFG AT's. They fit fine. Little trimming to the front air dam and I tunred up the torsion bars 6 turns. I have pictures if you are curious what they look like on the truck...

I have those rims on my truck, but with 325/60's..... I also have the green keys installed. I am actually going to buy those tires next as these rub a little too much for my tastes, just too wide. I think the 285/65's will fit much better with no rubbing.

Chebby03HD,
Install a 1/4" wheel spacer up front. You would be amazed on how much sway bar rub is reduced. You still will notice it at a hard turn, but very, very little. It's a huge improvement over not having them. I used to have the same set-up on my truck.

Figured you would get a kick out of it! I was hoping you didn't get upset!

Nice job with the whole truck. It is something some can only dream about.

It takes taste, not only money to build a nice custom rig.

Thanks Yaz...I really appreciate that! I guess working every summer since 7th grade and then having 3 jobs per summer for the last 2 summers (complete with no social life :) ) pays off...

Thanks for posting the pictures.

I really like that look. Perfect stance for a non lifted truck...in my opinion anyway.

I definitely think that's the setup I'm going to go with.

Thanks again!!

Yeah I've read about doing that, but my Nitto's only have a few thousand miles left in them, so I'm defintely gonna go with the BFG's now seeing them on a truck. As I still would like to have a 33" tall tire, just not as wide.

BTW, Truck looks great Ben.

Thanks ChebbyHD. Like I said before, I LOVE the tires so far. They are great off road (well compared to the stockers), rated for "severe snow service", and with my MBRP cool duals and no cat, they sound NO louder than stock tires.

Looks really good ben, but bfgs great off road? Only compared to stockers.. Stay away from mud with them, they fill up right away. They are great in snow and ice though.

Like those wheels though...

I'm thinking about the same rim. What finish are they? I was wondering what the super finish looks like.

Mine are chrome...much more durable and will look good for longer than the Superfinish IMO...
