will the cold weather effect my trans/rear end. I couldnot warm up this morning and it was acting funny. Knocking/slipping.

Any ideas.

thanks.

The tranny feels like it is slippping because it allows the torque converter to slip to build heat. Actually it does not lock up and shifts at a higher rpm. So it feels like it slips. As it gets warm, it will be normal again. No harm, its just protecting itself. It was 11 degrees when I started this morning and I was late getting my son to school. No warm up, just easy on the go pedal til it was warm.
