A buddy wants to try out my hypertech tuner on his truck. So when I went to unload the tune from my truck, I plug it in and I get NOTHING. Plugged it into his truck and it works just like normal. Any body know whats wrong with my truck? I was thinking maybe a fuse or something but everything seems to be ok.

Does it even turn on? If not, it may be the cigar fuse in the underhood fuse box. That is the most common problem, since it sends power to the Data Link Connector. Hope that might help.

Most common cause of blown cigar/power outlet fuses is cell phone chargers. Next in line is pocket change falling in sockets. Glad that fixed it for you.
