Dynoed my truck this weekend and turned some darn good #'s I think.
Hows 480RWHP and 1010RWTQ sound? I told my girlfriend all I wish is that I could make 4 digit TQ #'s and I would be happy. When my friend yelled up at me and told me I broke 1000 ft/lbs I thought he was joking till the man at the computer yelled up and told me he wasn't joking. I was all http://kydtr.com/iboard/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif's The guy running the dyno couldn't beleive it and called a couple of people and told them about it while my truck was still on the dyno. It was short lived though Evan came two trucks after me and blew my doors off but it was OK it cause it was still a Duramax.

Evan make some very very good #'s with his truck. It was great to see the duramaxs making some of the big #'s. I had never been to one but I thought this one was good for as cold as it was. I wanted to be over 4 digit TQ and I make it without breaking the bank. I just found the right things at the right prices thanks to KYDTR and the dieselplace. Thanks very much coalbucket and C.A.P. Now if I could get the clutch to hold level 4 on the street and not just the dyno. Thanks again Evan for telling me some other things that I could do with my truck. I may have talked my friend that was with me to switch from Ford to Chevy after seeing what our trucks can do with very little work done to them.

Very impressive numbers!! I wish I could have been there, but had work to be done, better luck next time. Duramax Farmer... Are you thinking of getting a clutch off of Evan now? I have one and it is awesome. Congratulations on your numbers!!!:grd:

Nice numbers. Is the ppe the only thing you have or are you running an edge box too. What did Evan use to get his numbers.

I'm positive you will see some massive #s coming from the guys that have the super clutches from the HD clutch builders including the SB clutches that are being tested by Dynadroit diesel right now. The ZF will be delivering the power more efficiently than the Allison (stands to reason). On the dyno and the pullin fields, I'm sure they will be a force to be recond with and can't be taken lightly. Congrats to you guys for the great #s. Glad to see it happening. The greatest part is there is more than just one clutch to choose from so they will be forced to constaintly improve. Progress is a wonderful thing.

Good numbers for sure, glad to hear other Zf'rs are pushing the limits! Trust me...the kit we are testing now from SBC will more than hold what you can throw at it.

I used a custom PPE+++? and edge, and a few other little fuel system mods.....
I need to take the 35 in tires off and then i would have made 515 -520 hp those things are tall and very hevy to be running on a dyno..each wheel and tire weighs 125 lb..... they killed me

I used just what is in my SIG. HOT PPE tuner costom made for the ZF trans and a timing change from what I was told by the owner before me, boost fitting (30psi), Straight piped and thats it. Stock intake and fuel system. Looking for a good deal on an intake mainly to make the turbo louder. Never got to run the PPE on level 4 till that day due to the DMF and clutch so I was not sure about a lift pump but it pulled good till 3700RPMs so i think I shouldn't need one for what I am running. I guess I am one of the luck ones that didn't need one I hope. If I try to run it longer on the street at WOT I may still need one. I need to change the air filter in it cause its like over a year old. Would have been smart to do before I dynoed it I know but oh well.:banghead:

never the less, that is some great numbers for the first time on a dyno, now throw on Farmer some intake, and liftpump mods and i bet you will be knocking or over the 500hp

my first time was a good day as well, i was running lots of Bulydog stuff back then and found one stack 150powerpup/ stacked with 150VA smartbox E that got me to 500, drove that stack faithfully for a month):h ):h , even tho it smoked like a train

dynos are great tuning tools, and is amazing to verify tunners results, or lack of we should say, just be sure to dyno all runs the same way

i always try to do a few stock runs at the end to compare stock hp, keeps the numbers in order, did you guys do any that day

No we didn't. I thought about it but I didn't want to hold up other people. That and I didn't have a whole lot of different things to try. It was $110 for an hour.
