looking to fit external transmission cooler from an 06 to a 04.5 chevy 2500 hd duramax/ allison combination. my current research indicates that all I will need is the 06 cooler and lines. I do not like the way my tranny gets hot while towing. The 06 cooler is longer and mounted down in the air stream from the bumper cutouts. any comments appreciated.

Do you have the parts yet? If not, contact MikeL. He has a cooler kit that sounds easier to install.
