Just picked up an 04 TDI Jetta, had to retire my old 6.5. I'll be looking around for upgrades and that soon.

Go to tdiclub.com and get all the info. you ever wanted. For power I would start with an RC chip. They come in stage 1-4 and this is the single best increase you can make. Your's is a PD which makes more power than my ALH but to give you an idea I dyno'd stock and then changed ECM's while still on the rollers.

These numbers are at the Wheels
Stock: 89.6hp - 155.5tq
RC StageII - 116.9hp - 202.7tq

You can add about 30-40hp to that with a PD.:cool2:

BTW, I averaged 46 mpg before the chip, now 48.

there is a box that you can get for them. Adjustable, gives a good amount of HP/TQ.

cool, I already checked out tdiclub-the salesman referred me to that site. I'm still debating modifying it or just keeping it stock-I already have a project car-though the chip does sound nice for the extra mileage though
