I installed a transgo kit and noticed in the instructions that a quick relearn is recomended. I don't have a scan tool that will do a quick relearn and was wondering if there will be any harm letting it take its time. I can live with some lazy shifts but the instructions refer to locking shifts etc. How bad does it really get. Clutches were not replaced I just did the kit mods.

You can let it slow learn, but sometimes takes a while. You'll have to do tow haul also.

Not sure about '01's, think the're different, but I've called around to find a garage/dealer with a tech 2. They'll do it for you for a small charge($30.00-$45.00)

It will take a long time but it should be bearable. If you find it really quirky you might want to find a tech 2.

Tech 2 will not help on the '01 as there is no quick learn on that year.
