Is there any way to modify the seat in a 2500 dodge somehow to allow it to travel lower to make it easier to get in to?

I dont think so. I have seen some go with an air ride seat like the big rigs use in hotshot trucks though..

Well.... the reason why I asked the question is because I was considering selling my chevy and buyin a cummins. I need 4 wheel drive but since the dodges sit up considerably higher it would be hard for me to get in and out of, due to the fact that I am a paraplegic. The chevys are high enough to get into but the dodges are about 4 inches higher at least. Dont feel like a dummy:lol: You didnt know.:muahaha:

TeddyBear, one guy here swapped the spacer blocks on the rear springs from bottom to top and lowered the rear a little. Made the truck ride flatter instead of the rear jacked up look. Might help a little. I do believe you can outfit both front and rear with air bladders, to give much lower profile and can jack it up for towing. Firestone and Kelderman (?) make units such as this. Better ride too I believe, but am not sure of the cost.

There is a place in Lexington that specializes in vehicles for handicapped, Superior is the name I believe. Not Superior Dodge.
