Hi all,
A friend of mine is interested in buying a new suburban to replace her '2 Ford Expedition (7.3L Powerstroke), BUT she wants a diesel-powered Suburban.
Here's the question: Has anyone heard if GM will produce a diesel-powered Suburban?
I've searched several websites, including here, and I cannot find an answer.
Thanks for your help!
Cheers, Jeff

Theres a link here somewhere of a duramax powered 2500 sub. Its totally aftermarket. If anyone else knows what I'm talking about, paste the link. I will try to find it.....Do a quick search here for a diesel suburban.

Thanks, Unit
I'm sure that aftermarket is totally trick, but she'll want a factory rig.

The07 'burb will get the D/A combo.
Go to www.gminsidenews.com and there are a couple threads on the new GMT-900.
Enjoy.

If you want one now, you can order one from Bill Armstrong who does the conversion.
Here is a write-up on how it is done.

And here is an actual website.

I saw a conversion using the 5 cylinder Mercedes out of a Sprinter Van online someplace.

Those nit-wits at GM are only 6 years too late with this idea....
IIRC, those DMax conversion Subs by Armstrong still have factory warranties, don't they??

No warrenty. He uses all new parts that have salvage status. Therefore, he has to title them as salvaged.
