Thinking of installing a Parrot Bluetooth setup. Unit needs to tap into a radio mute wire and a speaker wire (output through the speakers). Can it be done easy enough? Thanks in advance...

It can be done. I have a Parrot 3300 installed in my truck. There is a harness that can be purchased that will allow you to install the Parrot kit without cutting or splicing any radio wires on the truck. Plugs in between the factory harness and the radio. Then harness then exposes the power, ground, mute and input wires to the Parrot. I do not have the part number with me right now but when I get back to the office I can get it. It was about 40.00 I think but was well worth it.

Brad,
I'd be very interested in that part as I am getting a Bluetooth phone. Any info would help. Thanks...

Thanks Ben.....If the harness doesn't pan out, I'll go the splice route..

Try a search for GMcell in Google. This adapter won't work with Onstar. There is another harness....or try Cellsite part GMCSS-1. I am curious what you end up trying or getting to work. I have been looking to perform the exact same install on my truck to use with my Motorola E815 phone.

Sorry for the delay in getting this to you. The harness part number is GMCSS-2 from Cell-Site. There number is 800-937-6644. They can give you a dealer in your area or you can search the part number on the internet. It worked great for me.
