I looked in my owners manuel and can not find how to engage the "Elevated Idle", I put in on "On" and tried a few differnet things, but the RPM's never went up. Does the RPM's go up? And how do you do it? If not, what is this for? Thanks.......

Certain criteria has to be met. For starters it has to be under 37? degrees.

the rpm's will go up, but only if it is below 37 degrees or something like that. my dads went on over the weekend but it was 19 degrees out.

So if I set it "On", and it gets under 32 it will go on without me doing anything? This morning it was only 37, I wish I'd tried this last week while in Utah! Thanks Guys!!!!!

dont judge it by the mirror temp. Underhood IAT's have to be below 32 for it to kick on. It also shuts off if ECT is above 150.
