thought someone here may know.

3 car garage. i think the slab was poured on fill. just inside of each door, the slab settled a bit :( , so there is some cracking, and in the winter, when the cars haul in slush, it puddles. maybe 1/4 - 3/8 inch of puddle in the first 5 feet of the garage. i sweep the water out, but it is a battle i can't win.

i would like to repair this, then put some kind of nice surface stuff down. not sure what yet.

i think the settling is finished. house is 15 years old, and it hasn't been any worse in the last 5 years. is there something i can do other than pouring a new slab? isn't there some kind of leveling stuff i can pour?

thanks in advance for any ideas.

Yes,

You can pour a Self-Leveling Hydraulic cement and it will level itself.

Find a Tile store that sells Mapei Product and buy Ultra-Plan M20/self leveling hydraulic cement.

You will also need a bonding primer for concrete, that get's cut 1 part primer to 3 parts water for the first application and 1 to 1 for the second application 30 minutes apart.

You have 16 hours open time on the primer and the hydraulic cement completely dries in 3-5 hours.

Leveling from feather edge to 3/4" thick.
