How hard is it to install an overdrive lockout switch on an '02 model D/A? Where does a guy get the parts and will it help it quit "hunting" between 4th and 5th? Thanks!

Do a search on that subject, both here, and at "the other place."

Tons of information. If I can do it, anybody can do it. Be sure to follow the instructions to the T.

I tow a 5th wheel at 12000lbs, and would be lost without the ability to put the Allison down in 4th.

Good luck.

2nd that. Took about an hour to do (well organized in advance). Don't see how I towed without it. Remember, TCM must be flashed to recognize the lockout, if not already done. Complaining abot shift busyness (5 to 4 to 5 to 4) and clunking into 1st when rolling to a stop should get it done for nothing if you are still under warranty.
