Lock and panic both work fine, so I don't think it's the batteries. If I push it 20 times I sometimes can get it to unlock but not usually. Is there something simple I can check or should I just take it to the dealer to get a new one?

My #1 remote is doing the same. Its the one that gets used 98% of the time. Tried a new battery and it still does the same.

contacts could be getting dirty, had similar problem with tv remote before. used a q-tip and alcohol, and seemed to fix the problem.

Will try it. This doesnt happen all the time but the time it has, its been a problem cuz I wasnt at home to grab the #2 remote. One time I had 3 Happy Meals, 2 Meal Deals and 5 drinks in my hands and the remote didnt work.:eek:

I'am guessing its the relay. I had that problem with mine. theres a seperate relay for lock and unlock
