I'm posting this for my Dad since he has no pc


He has a 97 Chevy 3/4 ton 4x4 w/ the 6.5 turbo diesel.(low miles ~50,000mi) a couple years back he was having hard starts w/o it being that cold ~20 to 30* he replaced the glow plugs and the truck started fine (He did an OHM test on the old plugs and they tested out O.K.) Now about a year has gone by and the same problem again, any suggestions?? Thanks in advance! -Jammer

check for corrosion where the glowplugs come togather to ground. I've seen a loose stud, being used as the grounding post do the same.
