Has anyone used Aquapel on their Windshields? I had some pits repaired at a local glass shop, and they treated my windshield as a promotion. It is 70 degrees here today, "Welcome to Canon City the Banana Belt of Colorado" It's supposed to snow tomorrow so I will let you know if it works.

We got a pretty good rain last night. Took the truck out and the Aquapel worked great. Going down the road at 45 mph the rain just slid off my glass. Did not even use the wipers. This is just a little FYI!!! IF anyone gives a SH!T!!!!http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Approve.gif
Rainex works like that except it's like drugs. Once you put it on you have to keep re-applying it or the wipers streak it up terrible.

I have used rainx before too and had the same problem. I will see if this holds up better, its supposed to last 6 months.
My window film distributer sells it. I use Aquapel on my truck and my wifes subarban ,also use on glass shower. Works great and doesn't streak like rain-x. It will last 6 months but a little less effective the last month or so.

That's good to know. I found some on Ebay for around $5.00 an application. It is the exact stuff the window place is charging $25.00 for. I ordered 3 applications for $23.00 including shipping. I really like the stuff.
$5.00 is my cost for an application or $30.00 for a box of six pm me and I can get them for you.

Get Rain-X in gallon sized window washer solution pre-mixed at Wally World for a couple bux. Takes bugs off pretty well and re-applies the slippery stuff every time you wash the windshield. Been using it for years. no-muss, no-fuss, no-streaks.
