well i just finished my waste vegatable oil conversion this past sunday and everything has been running great. i ran 20 gallon of new SVO mixed with 7 gallons of WVO and everything was running fine. for the first two days, then last night on the ride home the vehicle starting skipping a bit so i switrched it back over diesel for the rest of my 15 min ride home. then the vehicle sat overnight untill yesterday morning.
i plugged in the block heater for a couple hours this then i went out to start the car, it started up just fine and ran for about 20 senconds , then all of the sudden it just died. no sputtering and no kicking just died out while running on diesel.
and now it wont start back up.
i disconnected the line going from the fuel switch(greascar kit) into the injection pump and they was no fuel pressrue built up, so i sucked on both side and it was definitly diesel in there (judging by the taste) so i dont think there was veggie in there when i shut it off. but i found it weird that there was no pressure.

any help please? ask any questions if you need more info on what happened

yesterday i checked

fuel pump relay..........ok
glowplug relay...........ok

can i check the fuel pump if the vehcile is not running? does it turn on wwith the ignition on circuit.

i'll wait on some feedback befor i try some more things because it is dark and freeking cold outside to be doing test in my driveway.

What you need to do is go to the faq and update your signature and then run thru the easy diagnostics that are available. Then the bright guys on the thread will be better able to help you with your questions.

It's a great site, just give everyone a little more info and someone will be around to help.

It reads like low lift pump pressure on the injector pump (fuel starvation in laymans terms). To power the lift pump under the hood, take the fuel relay out and jump the top right to bottom left pins. If you hear it running, open the air bleed on the fuel filter untill all the air is out then start it.

At idle, open the water drain. If the engine stalls, your OPS has most likely failed.
