Well, I've acquired myself an Autometer vacuum/boost gauge but did not get any fittings of tubing with it. Are these parts readily available or do I have to order special stuff???

I would assume that the easiest place to tap in for the boost gauge would be in the upper intake between the hose to the turbo and where the upper intake bolts to the lower one....or is there a better place?

How about the tranny temp gauge? Is there a place other than in the tranny pan that will give just as accurate of a reading and is easily installed? I've never had much luck in re-sealing tranny gaskets.....

Not gonna tackle the pyro gauge just yet, but is the pass side manifold my only option, and is it better to install before the turbo or after?

Gonna get somewhat motivated today....played a little hookey from work! :naughty:

ANYWHERE after the turbo in the intake will work as pressure is equal in all directions. I put mine into the rear runner closest to the left rear of the engine. Less tubing that way

i used 1/4" white teflon tubing vice 1/8" black tubing(oil gage pressure line) for faster response, can get from lowes or home depot. get brass inserts for tubing. shortest route best away from hot surfaces, bowties sounds good. check www.PegasusAutoRacing.com they show temp pickup adapters for tranny cooler lines, could fabricate yourself also

my bully dog tranny temp gauge came with a sensor that bolted right on to the tranny. There's a plug on the driver's side of the tranny that you can remove and replace with the sensor. Very easy installation this way. From what I've read on previous posts, it's just as accurate as tapping the pan.
