I have noticed some recent threads concerning finding a power wire. I have a 375 watt inverter that normally is powered by plugging into the cigarette or power adapter. Is it possible to directly wire it? The inverter has negative and positive wires that could be stripped and connected. Anyone have pics of how they installed their inverter?

Sonny,

I installed my inverter under the drivers seat. I ran an 8 gauge wire to the battery, and just grounded it to the chassis. Its real convenient there under the seat, seeing how my son loves to play Playstation on our trips.

Thanks for the pics. I have purchased a headrest bracket mounted monitor and will run it through my son's PS2. Couple of questions: Did you run the wire under the carpet and through the firewall? What size screw did you use to mount it into the floor?

I ran the wire under the carpet, along/under the door sill, then to the firewall. Not sure the size of the screws, just some I had laying around in the ole toolbox. Hope that helps. I have my DVD in the dash and a 7 inch monitor in the headrest.(pics in the link)
