: Autometer Ultra-Lite... Need brighter bulbs? sjl_dmax 11-21-2005, 11:32 AM I have 2 Autometer Ultra-Lite gauges w/ the white face. At night, they just don't seem quite bright enough. Anybody here, replace the bulbs that came w/ the gauge w/ something else? Can they even be replaced w/ LEDs? Had to pick a truck range first to see the gauge accessories link then found it. At 7 bucks a piece, I just went ahead and ordered it. Will post feedback on how much better these are when I get them. It did seem a little high for 2 little LEDs but hey not too bad. That just it w/ buy stuff on line, usually I buy a list of stuff to aliviate the shipping charge... Later... It took me 10 min to take the pod off and replace the bulbs. The hard part to wait until it got dark to truly see it. The cool part is that the need now glows where as before... the red needles were hard to see especially on the pyro... | ||
