when i plug in my heater and i come out in the morning i hear this faint clicking/ticking sound when its plugged in. is that the automatic relay to keep the temp of it?? thanks in advance!

Not sure, but i hear it every morning as well! I'm sure its just the intake heater.

Nucleate boiling (tiny air pockets/bubbles) on the heater's element. All block heaters do that. As the element heats the air pocket, it pops. Sometimes they even make a slight sizzling noise.

yeah mine sizzles i thought someone was cooling chicken under it!!! haha
