hello,

As many of you know I am getting ready to graduate (after 5 years). I am really excited to get out and earn some cash as I have been broker then broke in college. I am also looking to get a Reg/ext cab long box Duramax. My question is since regular cabs are few and far between should I order one? What should I look to pay? and does anyone have a GM in the driveway coupon that I could use around mid may? I hate to ask the last question but the company I may work for gets ford X plan pricing and it is really attractive (less all the 6.0 problems). Sorry to sound cheap but I am sure many of you know what it was like getting out of school and trying to pick up a new ride (mine is beat, 160,000 miles she did good for me but it's time to move on)

Thanks

Lenny

GM also offers a savings to recent college grads. Be sure to ask your dealer for it.

Here is my .02 cents. Get at least an extra cab, it looks like your going to keep it a while, the extra room will come in handy if not now maybe down the road. I checked pricing at; http://www.edmunds.com/ . It will give you an idea at least.

I'm sure someone here can or is giving coupons out.

I drove and looked at them all, I fell in love with the Duramax!

Good luck and congrats, 5 yrs is a long time.

Thanks guys, I have been looking and hoping to pay something like invoice+250 500 at most, I feel that is fair for both parties. Yes 5 years is a horrably long time and I am hopeful that I can pass my Intel class that is my toughest one. Also, College grad doesn't apply to diesel trucks. Who though that up????

Voodoo, where in S. FLA? you should hang out with Morse and I, we hit up the track in sarasota as often as possible.

Ft Lauderdale area. Is your Monte an SS? I had a 85' SS and miss it to this dayhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Cry.gif.

Sorry, no it's a 96 DOHC. EDIT: I am in the north tampa area and Morse is in Venice so the track is halfway between us.
